Full-Time SharePoint Designer
Job Description
The SharePoint Designer is responsible for designing and developing SharePoint solutions that creatively utilize industry best practices to meet client objectives by:
- Assisting with project development, defining technical requirements and developing solutions
- Overseeing design and integration of content management, portals, collaboration, business process or other solutions
- Designing and developing Business Intelligence dashboards
- Providing on-going support for SharePoint applications
- Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving SharePoint sites issues
- Developing and deploying SharePoint templates, master pages, workflows, portals, sites, pages, lists, libraries, views, and web parts
- Configuring SharePoint features such as audience targeting, content types, search, workflow, MySite capabilities, and MS Office integration
- Assisting with the coordination of security and operations during installation and deployment
- Ensuring integrity and security of SharePoint data
Required Skills
Candidates must have a solid understanding of the disciplines as they apply to the SharePoint platform; users and permissions, layout and master pages, site definitions and templates, content types, web parts, workflows, policies, document and records management, dash-boarding and business intelligence, and social networking.
Required Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or similar field required
- Hands-on portal design, development and implementation experience
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 and MOSS technologies highly desired
- Client-Side Applications experience with Word, Outlook, Excel, and InfoPath
- Experience with large-scale .NET applications preferred
