Job Description
Under general direction, independently develops, modifies, and implements moderately to highly complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to Macys Systems and Technology standards. Macy’s Systems & Technology (MST) is the information technology division of Macy’s Inc. Macy’s Inc. is the nation’s largest operator of department stores with over 800 department store locations in 46 states. In addition, we operate major catalog and internet operations for Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s. Macy’s Systems & Technology is headquartered in Johns Creek, a suburban setting northeast of Atlanta, Georgia.

Responsibilities:
Developer will work to create solutions using the Microsoft suite, including .net, sql, server, and Sharepoint. Work will be primarily in the merchandising world to enhance the online experience for the merchant community…
Skills:
3+ years of experience with object oriented programming such as Java, C#, etc.
5+ years of experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle
5+ years of experience with ASP.Net and Internet Information Services Manager (IIS)
3+ years of Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007/Sharepoint 2010 development, Sharepoint Designer
Knowledge of CSS/JavaScript
Knowledge of Web Services
Preferred but not required:
Sharepoint Branding and Workflow development
SSRS, SSAS
XSL/XSLT/XML
Web 2.0 technologies
Knowledge of one of more MST Merchandising Systems
