Job Description

The developer works directly with the business and other IT Teams to ensure that technical solutions are put in place to serve these communication objectives, and that these solutions are aligned with established strategic goals and policies.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide support for new and existing web applications.
  2. Work independently or be part of a team that builds interactive websites and applications.
  3. Develop web-based applications using our development process.
  4. Work with web developers for basic development of the web page
  5. Must meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.
  6. Must work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to learn and use new technology and techniques
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines amid shifting priorities.
Knowledge of web development related languages and skill sets such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery, ASP.NET, SQL, XML
Knowledge of techniques and skill sets:
Knowledge of web standards
Solid web design skills preferred.
Excellent attention to detail
 
Education and Training:
Bachelors Degree is required in CIS or related field or equivalent experience.
 
 
Experience Required:
  1. 1 year of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML
  2. Knowledge of web development best practices (sample of work will be required)
