Full-Time Sr. SharePoint Administrator

Due to continued growth within our Enterprise Collaboration practice, we are looking to add a SharePoint Administrator to our staff. This role will work on a variety of projects, both internally for Tahoe Partners and for our clients. This person must be local to Chicago or be able and willing to relocate to Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity with a lot of growth potential.
Installing & configuring SP farms within internal and DMZ network segments
Web application configuration and maintenance
Capacity planning and disaster recovery planning
Authentication Provider configuration
Windows Based Authentication (NTLM & Kerberos)
Configuring Claims Authentication and trusted identity providers.
Service Application configuration
Implementing and configuring SP enterprise service applications, including Access Services, Performance Point, and Search Service.
Providing “Best Practice” recommendations for SharePoint Server & SQL Server configurations
Including high availability models for SQL, such as Windows Clustering, DB Mirroring, SQL Log Shipping, & SQL Always-On.
Troubleshooting environmental and application based issues
Custom and 3rd Party solution deployment & configuration
At least 2+ Years combined SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 support and maintenance experience required, including a solid understanding of:
Farm Topologies and their appropriate use
Service distribution and tuning for performance
STSADM and PowerShell command line utilities
Microsoft solution framework
In addition, the consultant will be required to obtain and/or maintain the current Microsoft SharePoint Server Administration & Configuration certifications:
TS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Configuring
PRO: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Administration
Nice to Haves (not required):
Microsoft SharePoint Certifications in Configuring and Administration (Will be expected to obtain and/or maintain upon employment.)
Any IT Infrastructure Experience, include an understanding of:
Network storage devices
Networks (topologies, switches, routers, firewalls, NLBs, etc.)
Windows 2003/2008/2012 server administration
Active Directory & ADFS configuration experience
SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 support
Understanding of SQL performance tuning
Understanding of storage system tuning for relational databases
